Sparkly Neon...

Hiiiii!!

Long time no see... Busy, busy! :)

Here is my Holiday Manicure:

I'm wearing a neon pink shellac manicure with some loose glitters...

I really like this manicure, because of the pretty glitter...

I don't think I have to explain what shellac is, but in short words: it's a liquid between gel and nailpolish and has to dry in a UV or LED lamp for a couple of seconds. This gives you a manicure which will stay on without chipping and dulling, it keeps shiny until the last day of wear and you'll wear it for about 2-3 weeks.

Do you wear shellac or gelpolish?

Thanks for stopping by!

♥ Holographic neon pink gelpolish ♥

Hi!

Today I have a very nice gelpolish to show you:

This is a gelpolish called "Rainbow" and it is available in, I believe, 6 different holographic colors.

The consistency is a tad thick, but not too thick... Just about right.
Because of it's thickness it covers very well... You can get away with only one coat, but to get a brighter color, I applied two thin coats.

In The Netherlands, the weather is finally getting better and the temperature is going up.
FINALLY! Let's go bright and bold on our nails! :)

I'd really love to wear neons in summer, do you?

Until next time,

My alltime favorite Royal Blue...

Hiii!!

I know, I know... this is not a new polish, and I already have swatched it two times (click here and here), but I recently bought a back up bottle and I just HAD to show it again...

This is my alltime favorite blue nailpolish:

Kiko - 336

This Royal Blue crème polish is so bright in real life, it almost looks neon! It really is so pretty!

And it applies so easy, it's just heavenly! I adore this nailpolish so much, that I recently bought an extra bottle just as a back up :)

I really love this Royal Blue color:

Not that long that long ago, Kiko finally opened a store in Amsterdam, which is very near the city I live in, so I was finally able to buy this in a store instead of online :) #happy

What is your favorite Kiko nailpolish?
I'd love to hear...

Thanks for watching!

Partially sponged neon manicure...

Hi!

Today I have a quick post for you about a manicure I saw at Pinterest...

For this manicure I've used the following polishes:

☆ Essence - Icy Princess
☆ Color Club - Where's The Soirèe
☆ Catrice - You Better Think Pink
I've painted half my nails with YBTP and the other half with Icy Princess (both 2 coats).
I sponged Color Club WTS to create a sort of line with a piece of kitchensponge and there you got it...!

I like this manicure pretty much...

What do you think about this manicure? Would you wear it yourself?

Thanks for stopping by!

The bottles contain 5 ml each and I've paid €7,95 for this set, which is a great price for all of these great colors!

I'm going to swatch them soon!

Flip flop...

Hi girls,

Sorry I'm neglecting my blog a bit lately... I'm very busy with packing, because we're moving out soon...

So I'm using my sparetime wisely and that means that I don't have much time to do my nails and photograph them... But today I have some snapshots from China Glaze Flip Flop Fantasy for you:

Excuses my dry cuticles, my hands are having a hard time because of all the hard work...

China Glaze Flip Flop Fantasy is a neon orange polish which dries matte... Application was a bit of a pita; streaky and when I applied the 2nd layer, the 1st layer dissolved a bit... Very strange! But finally it pretty much has evened out when I applied 2 coats of my favorite topcoat (INM Out The Door). I could have applied 3 coats, so it would have turned out more opaque, but I was a bit tired and wanted to go to bed, so I decided to go with 2...

As you might know, it's always hard to capture neon colours on camera...
So irl the colour is much, much brighter then showed here...

Why is it so hard to capture neons? Does anybody have a clue?

Thanks for stopping by!

Fancy Fuchsia

Hi girls!

Hope you're all doing well... I am!

Today is a shorty...

Orly Fancy Fuchsia (2 coats)

I don't know if it's just me, but the consistency of this polish is a bit weird... It's super opaque but also very thick and blobby... Quite hard to work with actually! But it does even out on the nails a bit. I was a bit in a hurry, so this is definitely not the best polishing (I was on my way to a birthdayparty but HAD to paint my nails, so this is the result, hihi!)

Fancy Fuchsia is a very pretty (almost) neon pink, so a bit hard to capture with a camera (or actually this time with my new phone: Samsung Galaxy S2) but I think almost everyone in blogland does know how pretty pink this color in real life is...  I really ♥ this pink and I'm enjoying wearing this for 2 days (but now it's a bit chipping, unfortunately, because I would have worn it longer if I could :)

Do you have Fancy Fuchsia in your stash?

Thanks for stopping by!

Shopping: OPI, China Glaze, Revlon, Essence, Catrice, BornPrettyStore, Guppy... and more!

Hi girls!

Hope you're doing ok? Fortunately I'm feeling better and getting back to work tomorrow...

Today I would like to show you some of the stuff I've bought this month.

Ready?

From Essence 2 bottles of nailpolish remover in Strawberry and Coconut scent (always better than the real smell :) )

From BornPrettyStore two fauxnad Konad plates, numbers m66 and m76...

BornPrettyStore m66

BornPrettyStore m76
I haven't tried their plates out yet, but I've read some good reviews about them. I compared them a bit with the real Konad plates and I think they look pretty much the same.
These plates were on sale for $1,55!

Nothing special, just two pump bottles which I like to use for my removers. Also from BornPrettyStore.

From Catrice 3 polishes from left to right: Poison Me, Poison You!, After Eight and Dirty Berry.

From Essence 2 more bottles of Nail Art Sealing Topcoat, (a back up bottle of) Special Effect Topper Circus Confetti, Special Effect Topper Hello Holo and From BornPrettyStore some apple scented nailpolish remover wipes (which I don't like... The scent is ok, but they just don't do the job well enough!)

From Essence 7 Colour & Go polishes (I forgot photographing one!) from left to right:

66 Shiny Godness
33 Just In Case
72 Time For Romance
77 In Style
55 Let's Get Lost
78 Blue Addicted
(85 Galactic Black, not on the pictures)

I'm not sure, but I think Catrice's After Eight and Essence In Style look a bit the same... Anyone know if they do irl?

From OPI 3 polishes from left to right: Moon Over Mumbai, My Private Jet (brownish), Royal Rajah Ruby.

I know there are many girls who find OPI is a bit overrated and highly overpriced, but I think their polishes are great. They have such nice collections and colours! I'm willing to pay that price anyway :)

From Guppy (or CUDDV, whatever the name is) 2 Sanding Fruit Extract polishes, in numbers 14 and 16.
They are unbelievable large! I don't think I've had such large bottles (16 ml!) before.
I saw number 17 on Nihrida's blog and got immediately interested in the finish of this polish. Had to try it myself! :)

And 4 other polishes. From left to right: H&M Moody Model, Revlon 092 Blue Lagoon, China Glaze Crackle Glaze Metallic in Tarnished Gold, en last but not least a very neon pink crackle polish from Laushine (again from BornPrettyStore).

And two small brushes from BornPrettyStore which I'm going to use as eyeliner brushes.

That was about it...

See anything you like? Want to see swatches? Let me know...

Goodnight!
