Matte Grey + white flower

Hi!

Today I have a Hema polish to show you:

Hema Long Lasting Nailpolish Matt

This is two easy coats with some flower/lace stamping on my ringfinger.

I have used a large stampingplate I bought @ AliExpress for a couple of dollars...

I really like the effect of this polish. And if you like the shiny version better, you can always apply topcoat over it :)

Thanks for watching!

Essence Effect Nail Polish Latex Matt

Hi!

Today I have a black manicure for you...

Let's take a closer look:

And here's how to achieve this manicure:

First I've put on two easy coats of Essence Effect Nail Polish - The Black Cat.
This black polish dries matte, but in my opinion not matte enough. It stays a bit silky matt, if you know what I mean.

So... after I put this on, I wanted to spice things up a little and came up with this idea:

FOIL!

This is some foil I got off eBay a while ago. I used the transfer glue, let it dry, wrapped my nails in it and voila:

Do you use nail foils? What do you think of them?

Please let me know in the comments!

Thanks for watching!

Hi girls,

But today I wanted to share something with you guys...

Here are some of my favorite nailarts at the moment:

Guppy #12 layered with Kleancolor Chunky Holo Purple

Hi girls!

Here's the Guppy/CUDDV polish #12 again, but now layered with Kleancolor Chunky Holo Purple:

Kleancolor Chunky Holo Purple has mainly orange and green holo glitter in it.
This are two coats layered over the black Guppy (CUDDV) Sanding Fruit Extract #12 which I showed you here.

This picture shows the green holo glitters better... I ♥ the look of the glitter in this angle better.

Hmmm... I think it's nice to experiment a bit with layering, but I don't think it's really my cup of tea.

So I experimented a bit more:

Hey! See those blue glitters? I didn't notice them before...?
I mattified this manicure with two coats of China Glaze Matte Magic and tadaaa...

I probably layered a bit too much at the time, because see what happened with my ringfinger and pinky?
The polishlayers started to lift!

I like this version better then the shiny version...

But still... I don't like it enough to wear it this way. So I'm going to take it off... :)

Which version do you like more?

Thanks for watching!

Guppy Sanding Fruit Extract Nail Polish #4

Hi girls,

I've got another Guppy polish to show you...

Original (matte)
Guppy Sanding Fruit Extract Nail Polish #4

With topcoat

Well... the application of this Guppy polish was a real pain in the ass! This polish is more sheer than the other Guppy polishes I've tried so far. So because of that, this is on some nails 3 and on some nails 4 coats.

But the result was worthy! :)

Can't say which version I like most... the matte or shiny.
The shiny version looks more appealing in the pictures, but in real life the matte version looks very nice too!

But you have to admit: if you see this picture, you can't neglect the über glitters... They are so beautiful! ♥

Meanwhile, this is my little Guppy stash:

Guppy Sanding Fruit Extract Nail Polish in #4, #12, #16 and #14...

I have two more polishes to show you... The black and the green Guppy's :)

Wanna see more swatches of these amazing polishes?

Have a great weekend!

Guppy Sanding Fruit Extract Nail Polish #14

Hi girls!

Hope you're doing fine and had a great weekend!

Today I want to show you one of my newest polishes: Guppy Sanding Fruit Extract Nail Polish #14...

It's a so called Sanding Fruit Extract Nail Polish from a brand called Guppy (or CUDDV, spelled on eBay).
I don't exactly understand why they call it "Sanding" because it's not that gritty or sanding as you would expact it would be. And I can't also discover the "Fruit Extract", because there's nothing fruity about this polish :)

It contains dark blue, light blue, turquoise and silver glitter particles and dries matte.
Application was a bit tricky; the polish is quite thick but a bit sheer, so you're tempted to put on a thicker layer.
The drying time is a bit long... While I'm typing this, I've just spotted a little dent in my middlefinger nail :(

Do you see the different colored glitters? I like this polish, the effect of the multicolored glitters is so interesting,
I can't keep my eyes off of 'em ♥

Another advantage of this polish: it contains 16 ml! That's a LOT of polish, isn't it?

I've bought two of this Guppy-brand polishes on eBay and I can't wait to try the other one, #16, a green polish :)

I've paid $3,55 (free shipping) for one bottle and I think there will be more :)

What do you think about this polish? Like it or not?

Thanks for reading!

OPI You Don't Know Jacques! Suede

Hi girls!

It's a while ago I posted, but that's mainly because I wanted to test how long my previous (foil) manicure would last on me...

I wore that manicure for 6 days!! And had some minor chipping, only on my right hand! Seriously!

Today I want to show you one of my matte polishes:

OPI You Don't Know Jacques! Suede (1 coat)

I really love this polish and the matte effect it has.
But... there's one "but"... Because it is matte, I didn't used a topcoat as the finishing touch. So the longivity is unfortunately not that long... Here you can already see some tipwear after only a couple of days of wearing.

Next time I think I'm going to put some matte topcoat over it, to protect it a bit more...
Anyone any experience with that?

I love the color and the little sparkles in it... It's autumn (or fall, you know what I mean :) ) in The Netherlands, and so the color is really appropriate and matching this season...

I haven't tried topcoat-tricks over this polish, to see how the matte changes into shiny sparkles, but I've seen some nice French Manicure pictures on the web which, in my opinion, looked very interesting.

Going to try that some other time...

Interesting finish, isn't it?

Do you like matte finishes? And do you have some tips to keep em on a little longer than I did?

Sleep tight!
