H&M Vivid Nails Duo - Part I

Hi girls!

It's been a while, and I still don't have made myself a new lightbox, so in the meantime I'll stick with using my phone-pictures...

Today I want to show you a polish I've bought a while ago...

H&M Vivid Nails Duo:

I don't know how to describe the colour exactly, because in certain light it looks coral and in other light it looks more pink... In this light it even looks a bit orangy!

I'm talking about H&M Vivid Nails Duo, I bought last February for only €1,45 (on sale).

In this picture you can see what I mean... Now the left part of the polish does look pink, doesn't it?
The other polish is tomato red, and both polishes contain 5 ml.

And here it's pink again... Strange, but I do love this colour! I'm wearing it on my toes as well and this type of colours does make my skin (at least on my feet!) look a bit more tanned, I ♥ it!

Only downside of this polish is that is shows visible nail line (on my pointerfinger you can see it a bit) but hey, for €1,45  I'm not complaining! :)

Thanks for stopping by...

Until next time!

P.S. Welcome to all new followers, thanks for following me!

Something old, something blue...

Hi girls!

While we're busy with wrapping wineglasses and packing boxes, I found some time to show you a polish that I've swatched before, so it's nothing new, but in my opinion a very pretty and eyecatching polish...

H&M U Must Have This

U Must Have This is, literally, a colour you must have! It's such a pretty bright turquoise blue!
This polish is also very opaque, so if you're careful enough, you could get away with only one coat.
Unfortunately this colour is discontinued... If I ever find a lost bottle in a H&M store, I'll buy it immediately!

You must have noticed that lately, my pictures are different. That's because I now take pictures with my phone, only during moving to our new house! After we're settled I'm going to use my Sony Alpha camera and my lightbox again, like I used to, so don't worry!

In the meantime I hope these pictures are good enough... ☺

What do you think about this colour? Do you like it as much as I do?

H&M Moody Model

Hi girls!

Today I want to show you a polish that is in my stash for quite a while:

H&M Moody Model

Moody Model is a dark petrol colored crème which applied very opaque and evenly in only two coats.
If you're very careful, you even can apply it in one coat.

What else can I say about this polish... ?

I think it's a pretty unique color and I actually don't get it why I haven't worn this color before?
This polish is bought at H&M and was only €3,95.

I quite like it... Although I don't think I have an outfit to match with this color, but it also can look nice with black, I guess...

What do you think about this color? Like it or not?

Thanks for watching!

My great budget-polishes score... (and some snow-pics)

Hi girls,

I've got my hands on some great polishes for really budget prices!

Let's take a look at the polishes...

From left to right:
♥ H&M Vivid Nails Duo - 10 ml for € 1,45 (on sale)
♥ Essence Colour & Go Be Optimistic! - 5 ml for € 1,29
♥ Essence Colour & Go Fame Fatal - 5 ml for € 1,29
♥ H&M Purple In Paris - 15 ml for € 1,45 (on sale)
♥ H&M Pink Pearl, Grey Pearl, Mother of Pearl - 4,4 ml for € 1,95 (trio, on sale)

This is a Duo Nail Polish bottle with 10 ml of a coral pink and a tomato red polish. Always welcome in my stash, can't have enough of this colors, and for this price!?

Essence Colour & Go Fame Fatal, a beautiful bright red and Essence Colour & Go Be Optimistic! is a metallic orange. This last one probably isn't a color I would wear on its own, but a while ago I saw this combination from Deborah that decided to buy this polish.

This is a Pearl trio: Pink Pearl, Mother of Pearl and Grey Pearl. I'm actually not really into pearl finishes, but these colors looked too cute to not buy them...

Look at the pearl effect!

Great score, huh?

And now some pictures I would like to show you about the weather in The Netherlands...

This is the view from our livingroom, isn't it beautiful?

My precious 2-year old who wanted to taste the snow... :)
(she didn't like it, haha!)

And our view from another angle, somewhat later in the evening...

How is the weather in your country??

Have a nice weekend!

Tic... tac... Pepperoni time!

Hi everyone!

I'm still not feeling very well and lying in my bed with my laptop. Luckily I've shot these pictures a couple of days ago, so all I have to do is post them and go to sleep again :)

Today I want to show you my final stamped version of Wanna Pepperoni...

Basecolor: H&M Wanna Pepperoni (1 coat)
Stamping color: Wet'n Wild Black Crème
Stamping plate: XL B
Topcoat: Essence Nail Art Sealing Topcoat

I don't know if it's just me, but this design reminds me a bit of the inside of a clock...
Do you know what I mean? With the overlapping circles...

Like this:

Again I chose a design from the XL B plate from MagnoNails...

I own plate XL A too, but I actually like the images of plate XL B better...

What do you think of this manicure and these plates? Do you own a XL plate too?

Thanks for watching!

H&M Holiday Nailpolish set

Hi girls,

Look what I found at H&M's...

5 polishes for only €6,95!

I love the purple polish!

Just wanted to share this with you ♥

Thanks for watching!

Awaken Pepperoni + XL B

Hi girls!

Hope you're all doing ok.
At the moment I'm sick (yes, AGAIN!) so I'll keep this post short...

Basecolor: H&M Wanna Pepperoni (1 coat)
Stamping color: China Glaze Awaken
Stamping plate: XL B
Topcoat: Essence Nail Art Sealing Topcoat

This is one of the XL plates I've bought from MagnoNails quite a while ago, and I have hardly used it, so I wanted to try some of the designs on top of Wanna Pepperoni...

I don't really like the way Awaken turned out on Wanna Pepperoni, so I already removed it and stamped a different design on with a darker stampingcolor...

Curious? You'll see it soon...

Thanks for watching!

Wanna Pepperoni?

Hi girls!

Today I have a new H&M polish from their fall collection to show you...

H&M Wanna Pepperoni

Wanna Pepperoni  is kind of a mustard/olive colored crème polish which applies really easy en is higly pigmented... On these pictures I'm wearing only 1 coat!

It's definitely not a boring color, but a really outstanding olive-ish color.
Maybe not a color you'd wear often, or alone... :)

I grabbed my XL-plates from Magno Nails, which are really great and hardly used, and made two new manicures which I will post in the upcoming days, so keep checking ;)

Do you like this color or don't? Would you wear it?

Thanks for reading!

Shopping: OPI, China Glaze, Revlon, Essence, Catrice, BornPrettyStore, Guppy... and more!

Hi girls!

Hope you're doing ok? Fortunately I'm feeling better and getting back to work tomorrow...

Today I would like to show you some of the stuff I've bought this month.

Ready?

From Essence 2 bottles of nailpolish remover in Strawberry and Coconut scent (always better than the real smell :) )

From BornPrettyStore two fauxnad Konad plates, numbers m66 and m76...

BornPrettyStore m66

BornPrettyStore m76
I haven't tried their plates out yet, but I've read some good reviews about them. I compared them a bit with the real Konad plates and I think they look pretty much the same.
These plates were on sale for $1,55!

Nothing special, just two pump bottles which I like to use for my removers. Also from BornPrettyStore.

From Catrice 3 polishes from left to right: Poison Me, Poison You!, After Eight and Dirty Berry.

From Essence 2 more bottles of Nail Art Sealing Topcoat, (a back up bottle of) Special Effect Topper Circus Confetti, Special Effect Topper Hello Holo and From BornPrettyStore some apple scented nailpolish remover wipes (which I don't like... The scent is ok, but they just don't do the job well enough!)

From Essence 7 Colour & Go polishes (I forgot photographing one!) from left to right:

66 Shiny Godness
33 Just In Case
72 Time For Romance
77 In Style
55 Let's Get Lost
78 Blue Addicted
(85 Galactic Black, not on the pictures)

I'm not sure, but I think Catrice's After Eight and Essence In Style look a bit the same... Anyone know if they do irl?

From OPI 3 polishes from left to right: Moon Over Mumbai, My Private Jet (brownish), Royal Rajah Ruby.

I know there are many girls who find OPI is a bit overrated and highly overpriced, but I think their polishes are great. They have such nice collections and colours! I'm willing to pay that price anyway :)

From Guppy (or CUDDV, whatever the name is) 2 Sanding Fruit Extract polishes, in numbers 14 and 16.
They are unbelievable large! I don't think I've had such large bottles (16 ml!) before.
I saw number 17 on Nihrida's blog and got immediately interested in the finish of this polish. Had to try it myself! :)

And 4 other polishes. From left to right: H&M Moody Model, Revlon 092 Blue Lagoon, China Glaze Crackle Glaze Metallic in Tarnished Gold, en last but not least a very neon pink crackle polish from Laushine (again from BornPrettyStore).

And two small brushes from BornPrettyStore which I'm going to use as eyeliner brushes.

That was about it...

See anything you like? Want to see swatches? Let me know...

Goodnight!
