Blue my mind...

Hi girls,

It's been a while, but I hope to post more often now that I got my new iPhone and can take pretty good pictures with it...

Today I have a pretty blue for you: Kiko 336.

I really like this gorgeous royal blue creme polish. I'm wearing two coats and INM Out The Door topcoat.

Isn't this one of the most prettiest blues you've ever seen? I really, really love this color! ❤️

Well, thanks for watching!

OPI You're So Outta Lime...

Hi!

I'm back with quite an unusual color of polish (at least to me :) )

OPI You're So Outta Lime...

A very pretty bright green creme polish which evens out in 2 opaque coats...
I topped it off with a coat of my favorite topcoat: INM Out The Door.

I don't know about you guys, but I can say I practically never wear green nailpolish... And this is a real "in-your-face-green" but I really like it! :-)

I recently bought "Put A Coat On", the white "undie" from OPI to really make neons stand out and appear brighter, but I didn't need that polish combined with this one! Thumbs up for OPI!

Would you wear green nailpolish?

Thanks for stopping by!

Essie Urban Jungle...

Hi girls,

I recently received my first Essie polish...
Essie Urban Jungle

It's a beautiful beige crème with a hint of pink in it...
I admit I was a bit disappointed when I twisted the cap, opened the polish and saw the very thin brush...
I'm a bit spoiled with the big and wide OPI brush, but this brush didn't really bothered me whilst painting my nails...

What surprised me, was the opacity of this polish!
I have a lot of flesh/nude colored polishes but they often are very sheer or watery...
Urban Jungle was not! :-)

I used two normal coats with no top coat this time...

Another advantage about this polish is that it evens out itself (self levelling) so I didn't needed top coat to smooth it all out. And it's so shiny too!

Well... You can say I'm in LOVE with Urban Jungle and I'm so glad I bought this polish together with another pretty Essie polish which I will show soon :-)

Thanks for watching!

2-in-1 Review: Born Pretty Store Soak Off Gel Polish + Rhinestone Bow

Hi girls,

Today I have a 2-in-1 review for you!

You might have noticed that I love to use gel polish nowadays...
So today I have a review about a BornPrettyStore gel polish which I have bought with my own money, and a set of Rhinestone Bows which I received for reviewing purpose...

Let's take a look at the gel polish first:

This is a BornPrettyStore gel polish in #17 which is a gorgeous bright pink colour which looks slightly neon.
You'll receive a bottle of 15 ml which probably will last you a long time because you need to apply thin coats.
I've paid $8,72 for this gel polish which you can buy here.

This is 4 thin coats...

The consistency is a bit on the thinner side, but not a problem, because gel polishes should be applied very thin to prevent bubbling or wrinkling. With 4 coats I got the opaque colour I wanted.

I really love this colour and shiny pedicure!

Now on to the Rhinestone Bow.

BornPrettyStore sent me this Dazzling Rhinestone Bow. Isn't it cute?

You can get this Dazzling Rhinestone Bow #113 (or heart, skull, butterfly) in a set of 2 for $1,99 over here.

I'm quite pleased with this cute pedicure!

Okay girls, don't forget to use my couponcode KPX31 for 10% discount with your next order:

I hope you liked this 2-in-1 review, see you next time and thanks for watching!

*Some products in this review were sent to me for honest reviewing purpose.

Swatch: Rimmel Space Dust 005 Total Eclipse

Hi girlies,

Today I'm back with a polish with one of my favorite finishes: textured or so called liquid sand!

Here are some swatches of a new Rimmel polish:

In direct sunlight

This is Rimmel Space Dust 005 Total Eclipse!

Total Eclipse is a liquid sand with a black base and teal sparkles. Very pretty, but a bit hard to capture on photo.

in the shade

Rimmel Space Dust 005 Total Eclipse has a fine sanding finish, not too fine and not to gritty...

I really love polishes with a textured, sanding, gritty finish! The only downside they have is that the grittyness soon becomes less gritty, within a couple of days... Ah well... Time for a new mani!

Do you like the liquid sand trend? Which textured polishes do you own?

Gelpolish manicure: Drop

Hi!

Lately my nails were so bad, every time I got home from doing groceries I broke at least one nail! :(
So I've had it with that and searched for a solution, other than the normal nailstrengtheners and hardeners...
After a demonstration I found the perfect solution: Gelpolish!

I used the "Gel Nails At Home" range from Essence, which was pretty good, but it damaged my nails too much when taking it off. I now have used my new Gelpolishes from NCM: Nailcare Manon (a distributor in The Netherlands). I used to polish them blank and then use regular nailpolish but now I've used a colored Gelpolish (1st time I do this) and one of the first advantages of Gelpolish is the amazing shine... BEAUTIFUL!!

Let's take a closer look:

This is the color "Drop", which is Dutch for "Licorice". It is a beautiful greyish mauve (I guess?) with very tiny lilac sparkles in it... I really ♥ it!

I've used a base, 2 very thin layers of color, and a topcoat and dried them under my UV-light.

What do you think of this color?

Thanks for stopping by!

OPI Liquid Sand Skittlette

Hi!

I got a lot of new polishes for Christmas, so I wanted to try them out a.s.a.p.

This is the first manicure of 2014:

I'm wearing:
♥ OPI Emotions (2 coats, thumb & pointerfinger)
♥ OPI Moon Over Mumbai (2 coats, middle & ringfinger)
♥ OPI It's Frosty Outside (2 coats, pinkie)
♥ BornPrettyStore waterdecal

On my ringfinger (and middlefinger) I've used a waterdecal from BornPrettyStore which I've cut up because it was a little too big. The leftover piece is on my middlefinger...

I seriously have to do something to get my cuticles in condition again... They're growing fast and they're dry!
Tips, anyone??

I got lots of compliments and I'm happy to say that these liquids sands are holding up very well: I'm wearing this mani for almost a week now and my nails are still looking fine! *happydance*

Do you like this mani as much as I do?

Thanks for stopping by!
